Bonnie at Age 6 Months was seriously injured by a Bull or Mother Cow. She had several long lacerations to her back leg and a fractured femur. She required surgery removing the head of her femur at the joint and then grinding it down to fit into socket of the pelvis. It is remarkable she recovered from this injury and runs today like it never happened. We feel very lucky to have this marvelous spunky female. She is also a Great Great Niece of Rhett's which is Bossier's Father.

Bossier was known as the BIG RED DOG! Son of BDH's Cap'n Rhett Butler and BDH's Raisin Cinnamon. He became Overseer of the Ranch after Rhett died. He was truly his fathers son. As he matured he reminded me more and more of Rhett and looked like him except for that Red Coat of Hair. Boise was Carron's Protector, you dared not try and get in between them... ouch!
